The Changan X5 PLUS — sold in some markets as the CSX5 PLUS — is a compact coupé-SUV from Chongqing Changan Automobile aimed at younger buyers. Its sloping roof sits on a 2,715 mm wheelbase, longer than the CS55 PLUS, so rear legroom is generous even though the boot is smaller at 317 litres. The 1.5T Blue Whale engine gives 188 hp and 300 Nm, reaching 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and 205 km/h flat out, with about 6.95 L/100 km.
