2026 Changan CS75 PLUS: What's New for Importers, and 1.5T or 2.0T?

The 2026 Changan CS75 PLUS is the fourth-generation model, and the headline change for importers is the 2.0T Blue Whale engine with 233 hp and 390 Nm, paired with an Aisin 8-speed automatic. It also adds a 37-inch triple-screen dashboard, Level 2 driver assistance and a larger boot. Order it as a flagship where buyers pay for power and screens; keep the current export CS75 PLUS where price or engine-size taxes matter more.
Changan launched the fourth generation in China in late 2024, added the 2.0T in 2025 and the 2026 Smart Champion Edition in October 2025. Model details are on Changan's official site. EVtoU is an independent exporter, not Changan; we confirm LHD export allocation batch by batch.
What is new in the 2026 CS75 PLUS?
The 2026 model changes the engine choice, the cabin screens, the driver aids and the cargo space. The body footprint stays the same.
- 2.0T engine: 171 kW (233 hp) and 390 Nm from 1,900–3,300 rpm, 215 km/h top speed. A 1.5T with 192 hp and 310 Nm is also offered.
- Aisin 8-speed automatic: a torque-converter gearbox, not a dual-clutch.
- 37-inch triple screen: 10.25-inch cluster, 14.6-inch center screen and 12.3-inch passenger display.
- Level 2 assistance: full-speed adaptive cruise (IACC), AEB, lane departure warning and lane keeping, automated parking (APA) and a 540° camera.
- More cargo space: 725 liters, or 1,620 liters with the rear seats folded.
- Comfort items: 50 W wireless charging, zero-gravity passenger seat with massage, heated and ventilated front seats, multi-modal voice control.
- 20-inch wheels on 235/50 R20 tires.
How does it compare with the current export CS75 PLUS?
Same length, width and wheelbase, more power and more equipment, at a higher FOB price and a longer lead time.

Should I import the 1.5T or the 2.0T?
Pick the 2.0T where buyers reward power and your tax system does not punish 2.0-liter engines. Pick a 1.5T, either the export CS75 PLUS or the 2026 1.5T, where it does.
Many markets set import duty, excise or yearly registration tax by engine size. If your market has a step at 2.0 liters, check the exact displacement on the homologation sheet before you order, and ask your customs broker which band applies. We do not quote tax rates, because they change and vary by country.
Where the 2.0T tends to sell
Our own order pattern points to the GCC, Kazakhstan, Chile and urban Nigeria. In these markets, buyers compare against larger Japanese and Korean SUVs and expect strong overtaking power, especially on long highways in heat.
Where a 1.5T makes more sense
Price-led markets, rental fleets and government tenders with a budget cap per unit. The current export CS75 PLUS starts at an indicative US$14,900 FOB, about US$3,000 below the 2026 2.0T. Price for the 2026 1.5T is quoted on request by batch.
Does the 2026 model change shipping plans?
No. The 2026 model has the same length, width and wheelbase as the export CS75 PLUS, so Ro-Ro deck space and container load plans stay the same.
It is 10 mm taller and 75 kg heavier in 2.0T form, which does not usually change a load plan. The bigger change is timing: allow 30–45 days from deposit to port, because LHD export units come from factory batches. We confirm build slot, VIN range and color mix on the proforma invoice. Will the 2026 model be accepted in my market?
It depends on whether the 2026 variant has been approved there. A new generation can need new type approval or conformity paperwork even when an older model is already registered.
